Welcome to a personal chef service which caters dinner parties and cooking classes in your own home. Tammy hails from the DC Metro area where she graduated from Virginia Tech as a Food Scientist. She was working in the Food industry for 8 years until she realized there was creativity and ‘art’ to food. She earned a degree at the Culinary School at the Art Institute in Philadelphia and also did a stint at the Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Soon after, she found herself working as a Personal Chef and moonlighting in and out of the restaurant scene. Eventually opportunities to cook healthier landed her in Los Angeles. She has gained a loyal clientèle and has been cooking, educating, and enjoying farmer’s markets, not to mention the sun and fun of the West coast ever since. Tammy cooks Mediterranean Italian-French to fuel the soul. She believes that local ingredients influence simplicity yet classical food. Her cooking is affected with Asian and Mexican accents as well. In her eyes, good friends and family, along with flavors, textures, and colors, any meal can lead to the perfect dining experience. Life is about learning, whether food, music, or world issues, everything eventually comes together around the table.
